Best Vinegar Coleslaw
Ingredients:
1 head cabbage, finely chopped
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
3/4 cup celery seed
1 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
In a large bowl, sprinkle cabbage with salt and mix well. Let stand for 1 hour.
In a separate bowl, mix sugar, milk, vinegar, mustard, and celery seed. Slowly add the vegetable oil while whisking constantly.
Pour the dressing over the cabbage. Store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
